Message Setup Options
There are several options associated with text messaging. The
Message Setup menu allows you to customize the options to fit your
preferences. The message options are divided into the following
categories:

General: allows to configure the scroll timer, MSG
Reminder, Voice Mail #, Message Time, and Messaging.
ⅷ
New Message: allows you to configure Callback #, Save
Message, Entry Method, Delivery Acknowledgment, and
Canned Messages.
ⅷ
Alerts Setup: allows you to configure to auto-connect web
alerts when possible.
To access the MSG Setup menu:
1. Press for Main Menu.
2. Press for Mail Kit.
3. Press for MSG Setup.
4. Press for General, for New Message or
for Alert Setup.
General Options
The following options are available in the General Option settings.
These options allow you to customize options associated with
messaging.
Scroll Timer
The scroll timer allows you to set the duration of the scroll before it
closes in the message screen. To access the scroll timer:
1. Press for Main Menu.
2. Press for Mail Kit.
