Adjusting the Ringer Volume
You can set the Sprint PCS Phone™ to several different
ringers and volume settings using the volume buttons located
on the side of the phone. (See "Front View of Phone" on page
12 for the exact location.)
To adjust the ringer volume:
1. With the phone in standby mode, press the Volume
buttons up or down to display the Ringer Volume setting
screen.
2. If vibrate is selected, the phone will vibrate to confirm the
selection.
Note: If the phone is set to vibrate, the vibrate icon
(Page 24)( )is displayed on the Top LCD Display and
main screen of the phone.
To adjust the ringer type, see "Sounds" on page 82.
In-Call Options
During a call, your phone displays menu options in addition
to the main menu.
To display the InCall menu, tap while connected to a
call. The following options are displayed:
ᮣ Record: Records the conversation of the caller.
ᮣ (Un)Mute : Select (Un)Mute to mute your phone’s
microphone. Select ( Un)Mute again to reactivate the
microphone.
ᮣ Deactivate Key Tones: This option allows you to tap
keys without the caller hearing any tones during a call.
