2.2 General operation for driver installation
The driver is installed according to the following general operation.
Installation using Plug and Play
When installing the driver by using Plug and Play, the installation procedure
differs depending on the operating system.
Installation using the TWAIN Driver Installer
When installing the driver by using the TWAIN Driver Installer, the installation
procedure is the same for all operating systems.
With Windows Me
With Windows XP,
Windows Server 2003,
Windows Vista,
and Windows 2000
Install the TWAIN driver.
Install the USB printing support driver.
Install the printer driver.
With Windows 98 SE With Windows Me
With Windows XP,
Windows Server 2003,
Windows Vista,
and Windows 2000
Install the TWAIN driver.
