2.4 Installing the TWAIN driver by using the installer
If the machine is to be used through a network connection, install the TWAIN
driver by using the installer.

Reminder
The optional network interface card NC-503 or image controller IC-206
must be installed in order to establish a network connection.
For details on the network interface card, refer to the User’s Guide for the
network interface card NC-503 or the image controller IC-206.
Connecting to a computer through a network

Use the network cable to connect this machine to the computer.

Insert the CD-ROM containing the TWAIN driver installer into the com-
puter’s CD-ROM / DVD drive.

Open My Computer, and then double-click the icon of the appropriate
CD-ROM drive.

Double-click the TWAIN Driver Installer icon on the CD-ROM.
– If the User Account Control dialog box appears in Windows Vista,
click the [Continue] button.
