Using the Self-Timer

When you set the Self-Timer and press the Shutter button, the mc3 device waits
10 seconds before taking the picture. This lets you get into the picture!

1 Move the Mode selector to the Pictures

position. Press the Menu button.
The LCD displays the Picture menu.

2 Press the

buttons to highlight the

Self-Timer

icon. Then press the Select

button.

3 Press the

buttons to highlight ON,

then press the Select button.
The new Self-Timer setting is shown next
to the Self-Timer icon.

4 Press the Menu button.

The Self-Timer icon appears at the top of
the LCD.

5 Place the device on a tripod or firm

support. Compose the picture using the
LCD. Press the Shutter button all the way
down, and then move into the picture.
The Self-Timer icon blinks until the
picture is taken. If sounds are turned on,
the device also “beeps” during this time.
