This chapter explains how to print from Macintosh ® on a Network.
For more information on how to configure the default Quick Draw
driver on a Network, see the Quick Setup Guide included with the
machine.
Printing from a Macintosh ® using the Simple
Network Configuration capabilities
(Mac OS ® X 10.2.4 or greater)
The Simple Network Configuration capabilities let you create an
instant network of computers and smart devices just by connecting
them to each other.
The Simple Network Configuration capabilities on a Macintosh ®
running OS ® X allow your machine to automatically configure its IP
address settings.
Refer to the information below if you wish to learn how to configure
a Brother machine into a Mac OS
® X Simple Network Configuration
environment. Please note that you must use the version Mac OS ® X
10.2.4 or greater.
