• Secondary volume (S-VOL): The destination volume to which the contents of the primary volume
are copied.
• Secondary-primary volume (SP-VOL): The volume located in the middle of a cascade configuration.
A secondary-primary volume is both the secondary volume in an upper-level copy pair and the
primary volume in a lower-level copy pair.
