Monitoring number of pairs and license information
You can review information related to pairs and license capacity using the Information dialog box.
1.
In RWC, click Actions > Local Replications > BC/SS > Pair Operation.

In the Pair Operation window, right-click and select Information.

In the Information dialog box, review pair and license information as desired. The following
table shows descriptions of the items in the Information dialog box.
Descriptions
Items
Number of BC/SS pairs in the XXXX / YYYY format, where XXXX is BC/SS pairs and
YYYY is the number of BC/SS and BC Z pairs.
Business Copy pair(s)
Number of SS pairs.
Snapshot pair(s)
Maximum number of pairs: 16,384
If you create BC/SS, Auto LUN, and Compatible FlashCopy pairs in the same storage
system, the maximum number of pairs that you can create may be less than 16,384 minus
YYYY. YYYY is the number of BC/SS and BC Z pairs.
The number of reserved volumes of BC/SS is shown in the format of XXXX / YYYY. XXXX
is the number of reserved BC/SS volumes. YYYY is the total number of reserved BC/SS
and BC Z volumes.Reserved volumes include S-VOLs of BC/SS and BC Z.
Reserved volume(s)
Number of usable pair tables in the storage system shown in XXXXX / YYYYY format.
XXXXX is the number of usable pair tables. YYYYY is the maximum number of pair tables.
Remaining pair table(s)
Number of usable differential tables in the storage system in the XXXXXX / YYYYYY format.
XXXXXX is the number of usable differential tables. YYYYYY is the maximum number of
differential tables.

BC/SS license information in the X(Y) format, where X is license capacity BC/SS is using
and Y is total license capacity reserved for BC/SS. If there is no limit on license capacity,
Unlimited is shown.
