Data Retention and access attributes

The SS pair and pool operations that you can perform for volumes depend on the access attributes
that you set. Set the access attributes using the RWC Data Ret.

You can also set SS pair P-VOLs and S-VOLs access attributes and reserve volumes.

NOTE:

The SS volume access attributes do not change as a result of an SS operation. For example,

even though the reverse resync operation reverses the P-VOL and S-VOL, the P-VOL access attribute
is not overwritten to that S-VOL.

The following table shows the SS pair operations that you can perform for volumes based on the
access attributes that you set.
