SAVING THE VIDEOS/PHOTOS TO A PC

You can save the videos and photos in the camcorder to a PC via the network.

PRECHECK!

Select the record (

) mode by pressing the MODE button.

1. Touch the Network (

)

ˆ “Backup to PC.”

The camcorder connects to the network via the last AP it had
been connected to.
If the camcorder has never been connected to an AP, it scans
for available APs.

2. The camcorder displays the available APs. Touch the AP you want.

To reload the AP device list, touch the Refresh (

) tab.

3. Touch the HD (

), SD (

) or Photo (

) tab.

Video or photo thumbnails appear.
The videos and photos in the thumbnails are displayed only in
4x3.
Use

/

to move to the previous or next page.

4. Touch a video or photo you want to save to the PC.

The video or photo you selected is marked with a ( ) on the
screen. Each time you touch a fi le, it will be selected then
deselected alternately.

5. Touch the (

OK

) tab.

To cancel saving the fi les, touch Cancel.

6. To exit “Backup to PC,” touch the Exit (

) tab.


You can save only those videos and photos that were recorded by the camcorder.
The effective network connection range between the camcorder and the TV may differ depending
on the AP.
This function is available only after you have installed Samsung AllShare PC Software on your PC.
Samsung AllShare PC Software is a program that lets you transfer fi les wirelessly from your camcorder
to your PC. For more details, visit the website www.samsung.com.
The following folders and fi les are created in the internal memory and memory card to support AllShare
PC Software. These fi les and folders are necessary for your computer to detect the camcorder through
AllShare PC Software. If the names of these folders and fi les are modifi ed or deleted, your PC can not
detect the camcorder.

For the AllShare PC Software environment confi guration, see page 149.
If the camcorder turns off abnormally (ex: battery failure) while you are saving a video or photo to
your PC, the PC considers itself still connected to the camcorder.
It may take longer to transfer videos or photos to a device, depending on the network connection
and the fi le size.
You cannot enable this function if there are no recorded videos or photos in your camcorder.
