2. Select one of the on-screen shortcut navigation key
directions to change the assigned application. Choose
from:
• Left: Messaging shortcut. Press the left key from the navigation
area to launch a messaging shortcut. Applications include: Create
message, Conversations, Voicemail, Email, Exchange email, Social
Buzz, and IM.
• Up: Media shortcut. Press the up key from the navigation area to
launch a media shortcut. Applications include: Media, Photos,
Camera, Camcorder, and Music Player.
• Right: Social shortcut. Press the right key from the navigation area
to launch a social shortcut. Social sites include: Social Buzz,
Facebook, Twitter, My Space, My Stream, Upload pic, Facebook
chat.
• Down: Web shortcut. Press the down key from the navigation area
to launch a Web shortcut. Web applications include: web2go and
Bookmarks.
3. Highlight a shortcut category and press ➔ OK (LSK).
4. Select an available on-screen application and press
or Assign (LSK).
Keyboard Shortcuts
This menu allows you to assign a shortcut to the Shift
key.
Pressing this key in conjunction with another QWERTY key will
launch a user-assignable shortcut when pressed. You can modify
this setting any time.
1. From the Home screen, press Menu (LSK) ➔ Settings ➔
Personalize ➔ Keyboard shortcuts.
2. If this is the first time you are programming this key, read
the information that displays and press OK (LSK).
3. Scroll down the list of alphabet location and press Change
( ).
4. Highlight an available application and press Assign (LSK).
Choose from one of the following: T-Mobile Mall, People,
Media, web2go, Messaging, Call history, Settings,
Organizer, or My Account.
