Digital Still Camera Mode : Advanced Techniques
✤ The Manual Exposure compensation function works in (Program), S and A modes.
✤ If the image in the LCD screen is too bright, choose a negative value for exposure
compensation.
✤ If the image in the LCD screen is too dark, choose a positive value for exposure
compensation.
1. Set the Power switch to (CAMERA).
2. Set the Mode Dial to (Program), S or A.
3. Press the Quick menu selector.
4. Move the Joystick up or down to select icon.
■ The Exposure Control Bar appears.
5. Move the Joystick to the left or right button to adjust the Exposure Compensation.
■ Positive compensation brightens the image, while negative compensation darkens the
image.
6. When you are satisfied, press the Quick menu selector again.
■ The icon remains on LCD screen while the Exposure Control Bar disappears.
