Message/Media Boxes

Save Message — Save the message text as a Favorite/Quick Text.

Save Phone Number — Lets you add the addressee numbers or Email addresses to
your Contacts list.

Use the navigation keys to highlight an option. Press the

key to perform the function for

the highlighted option.

Press the

key to return to the previous menu.

Drafts Box

Messages in the Drafts box are those that have been composed but not sent or that fail to
be sent. You can return to the Drafts box at any time to view, edit, or send a draft message.

In standby mode, press the Down navigation key (MESSAGE shortcut), then do one of

the following:

Press

(for

Text Messages) and

for Drafts. The Draft screen appears in the

display listing draft Text messages.

Press

(for

Pic. Messages) and

for Drafts. The Drafts screen appears in the

display listing draft Picture messages.

Use the navigation keys to highlight the message that you wish to view/edit/re-send,
then do one of the following:

Press the

key to view the highlighted message, then one of the following screens

appears in the display:

Text Message screen showing the Text field.

Compose (Picture message) screen showing the Recipient list. Change or add numbers
and addresses, then press the

key.

Draft (Email) screen with the Subject field highlighted.

Proceed to Step 3.

Press the Menu (left) soft key (

). The following options appear in the display:

Re-Send / Resend — Send the highlighted message again to the current addressee(s).

Delete — Deletes the highlighted message from the Drafts box.

Sort — Sort the messages in the Drafts box by date and time received, sender, priority, or
message size.

Delete All — Erase all messages in the Drafts box.

Use the navigation keys to highlight an option. Press the

key to perform the function for

the highlighted option.

Press the

key to return to the previous menu.

In the Text Message/Compose/Draft screen, do the following:

Enter or change the Subject and/or the message text using the keypad. (See “Section 5:
Entering Text” on page 47
for more information.)

Picture messages only — Add, change, or delete pictures, sounds files, and video clips in the
highlighted message.

4.

Once you’re finished composing your message, do one of the following:

Press the

key to send your message.
