To change the Network Selection mode:

1.

Highlight the Search now option and press the Select soft key or the

key.

2.

Press the Up or Down Navigation key until the network you want is highlighted and then press the Select soft

key or the

key.

The phone scans for that network and, if available, you are connected.

To change your Default setup:

1.

Highlight the Default setup option and press the Select soft key or the

key.

2.

Highlight one of the following options and press the Select soft key or the

key:

• Automatic: you are connected to the first available network when roaming.

• Manual: the phone begins searching for available networks. Press the Up or Down Navigation key until the network you want

highlights and then press the Select soft key or the

key.

The phone scans the selected network and attempts to connect. If a connection is available, you are connected.

Synchronization

The first time you access the synchronization feature the handset prompts with the following message:

“Would You Like To Store A Copy Of Your Contacts On Http://my.t-mobile.com So You Can Manage Them Online?”

Press the

key to agree to the copying of the contact information.

Once the process is complete a new message displays:

Synchronization complete! Phone will automatically sync on every phonebook edit you make. To change sync settings
go to, Settings > Synchronization. To manage your contacts, go to: “t-mobile.com
”.

This feature allows you to back up (synchronize) Contact information, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes stored on your
phone with your T-Mobile account on the network. Each time you edit contact information your phone automatically
synchronizes with the web Mobile Backup.

2.

Press the OK soft key to complete the process and return to the idle screen.

Important!: Synchronization is a service offered to T-Mobile customers.
