Section 11: Music Player
This section describes how to use the Music Player to play downloaded music files.
Music Player
The Music Player allows you to play music files stored on the phone.
Note: The following characters cannot be used in the filename:
< > “ ? / \ : * |
Important!: You must organize your playlist before you get started.
Music Player Options
Use the Options menu to access the Playlist. The Playlist soft key (Right Navigation key) allows you to change the
settings such as repeat or shuffle.
1. In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Fun & Apps ➔ Music player and press the Select soft key or the key.
2. Press the Options soft key and select one of the following music player application options then press the
key.
The first time you use the Options menu these options display:
• Play: allows you to play the music in the selected playlist.
• Rename: allows you to rename the selected playlist.
Select a playlist and press to view the contents.
Press Options to view the available playlist options:
• Add music from: allows you to add music from either your phone or inserted memory card. The memory card should contain a
Music folder to house the desired music files.
• Move to: allows you to move the selected music file to another playlist (1-10).
• Copy to: copies the selected music file to another playlist (1-10).
• Remove: allows you to remove the selected music file or all of the music files from the playlist.
