4. Press the Left or Right Navigation keys to adjust the volume (levels 0-7).
5. Press the Save soft key or the key to save your change. Otherwise, press the Cancel soft key or the
key to return to Idle mode.
Power-on/off tone
This menu allows you to select the melody that the phone sounds when it is switched on and off.
ᮣ Select Off, Tone 1 or Tone 2 and press Save.
Flip tone
This menu allows you to choose from four tones, or Off when you flip open your phone.
Extra tones
You can customize additional tones for the phone.
1. Press the key to turn a selected tone On. A check mark displays in front of the option. Press the Save
soft key to save the setting.
2. Press the key twice to turn a selected tone Off. The check mark no longer displays in front of the
option.
The following options are available:
– Minute minder: sets whether or not the phone beeps every minute during an outgoing call to keep you informed of the length of
your call.
– Connection tone: sets whether or not the phone beeps when your call is connected to the system.
– Alerts on call: sets whether or not you receive tones when a message arrives while you are on a call.
3. Press the Save soft key to save the setting, otherwise press the Cancel soft key.
Display Settings
In this menu, you can change various settings for the display or backlight.
1. In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Display settings and press the Select soft key or the key.
