Installing Additional RAM

Shut down your computer. Disconnect the power adapter, phone cord, and any other cables
connected to the computer.

Turn the computer over and locate the release latches on either side of the battery. Slide
both latches up. The battery should pop up slightly.

Using a Phillips size 00 screwdriver, unscrew the memory door and remove it from the
battery bay of your computer.
Warning
The internal components of your PowerBook may be hot. If you have been
using your PowerBook, wait 30 minutes after shutting it down to let the internal
components cool down before continuing.
