Switching the screen display, or turning the LCD backlight on/off
Each time you press DISP, the screen indicators, such as remaining battery power, etc., turn
on or off.
To turn off the LCD backlight, press and hold DISP down for a few seconds until appears.
This setting is practical when you use your camcorder in bright conditions or you want to save
battery power. The recorded image will not be affected by the setting. To turn on the LCD
backlight, press and hold DISP down for a few seconds until disappears.
Acquiring location information (GPS) (HDR-XR200V)
Set the GPS switch to ON ( appears on the LCD screen). Your camcorder starts trying
to triangulate. When your camcorder triangulates successfully, it will record the location
information at the time movies and photos were recorded.
The movies and photos with location information will appear on a map (p. 43), so that you
