Microsoft

Message

Queuing

(MSMQ)

If

you

are

using

MSMQ,

you

might

have

problems

starting

the

service

after

a

restore

from

an

incremental

backup.

That

is

how

Rescue

and

Recovery

knows

what

files

have

changed

so

it

can

back

them

up.

So,

if

all

those

files

aren’t

backed

up

on

an

incremental,

then

the

files

could

get

out

of

synch

and

cause

the

service

to

fail.

Here

are

some

registry

settings

that

run

a

command

before

Rescue

and

Recovery

takes

a

backup

that

sets

the

Archive

bit

on

all

files

in

the

MSMQ

directory.

This

means

the

entire

directory

will

be

backed

up

every

incremental.
