3.2 Installer-based auto install
The installer automatically detects this machine on the same TCP/IP network as your computer or the printer
connected via USB to your computer, and allows you to install the fax driver together with the required printer
driver. You can also install the printer driver by manually specifying the printer for which you want to install
the driver.
3.2.1 Operating environment of the installer

- The installer supports installation in both IPv4/IPv6 environments of Windows Vista/7/Server
2008/Server 2008 R2 only. Note that it does not support [Secure Printing] (IPPS) in Windows Vis-
ta/7/Server 2008/Server 2008 R2 and [Internet Printing] (IPP) in the IPv6 environment.
3.2.2 Settings of this machine
Before you can use this machine through the network connection, you must configure the network settings
for this machine.

In [TCP/IP Settings] of this machine, specify the IP address.
