Expansion functions

By installing the add-on (function expansion) applications in Device Manager,
various expansion functions can be used.
Add-on (extension) applications make more advanced functions available in
addition to the basic functionality of Device Manager.



Note

The add-on applications do not function by themselves.

Authentication Manager

Authentication Manager is a utility used to centrally manage devices, such as
multifunctional peripherals, on the network. When used in a Web browser,
Authentication Manager can manage accounts, users and external servers
used by network devices, total copies and prints, and apply specified function
limitations.

Account Manager

Account Manager is a utility used to centrally manage devices, such as
multifunctional peripherals, on the network. By using Account Manager in a
Web browser, the usage and costs for each account or each user of network
devices can be totaled and analyzed.
Account Manager enables you to total and analyze counter information. It also
allows you to specify the upper limit of the number of copies or printouts for each
user, and whether to send a warning message or to prohibit printing.

My Panel Manager

My Panel Manager is network-based software for managing personal address
books and panels used on multifunctional peripheral and other devices. By
using My Panel Manager, the address information and panel settings of each
user can be managed easily using a Web browser.
