List of functions on the Settings screen
Following functions are displayed on the Scan Settings, Original Settings and Communication Settings
screens.

Description
Basic settings
[Original Type], [Simplex/Duplex], [Resolution], [Density],
[Separate Scan] are set.
[Quality Adjustment]
[Background Removal]
Adjusts the density of background color of the original.

[Sharpness]
Emphasizes the character edges.
[Erase]
[Frame Erase]
Erases the black shadow on Top, Bottom, Right, and Left
of the original when a booklet is scanned.
[Book Scan]
[Book Copy]
When book or catalog is scanned, it scans a spread as
separate left and right pages and faxes 1 page at a time.
