6.5 Sending double-paged originals page by page from right to left (Book
Copy)

When the book and catalog etc. is sent by fax, the original is divided into right and left pages and is sent page
by page.
There are following types of book copy.

Load the original on the original glass.
Following functions cannot be used simultaneously.
Mixed Original, Z-Folded Original, Long Original, Binding Position, Preview
Sending the fax after specifying book scanning

Press [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax/Scan screen.

Load from the first page on the original glass.
– When there is a front cover, first load the front cover.
– For details on loading originals, refer to "Loading the original" on page 2-9.
– When fax is to be sent with the cover, the original is scanned in the order of front cover, back cover,
and double-paged text original.

Touch buttons in order of [Scan Settings], [Book Scan].
Function name Description
[Book Spread] A double-paged original is sent as a part page.
[Separation] Double-paged original is divided page by page into left and right pages and faxed.
[Front Cover] The original is sent in order of front cover + order of divided pages.
[Front + Back Covers] The original is sent in order of front cover + order of divided pages + back cover.
