8.3 Registering Group destinations
Multiple Address Book destinations can be grouped and registered in Group destinations. It is useful when
same contents are to be used in broadcast transmission.
- Up to 100 Group destinations (01 - 99, 00) can be registered including the groups used in scanner
functions.
- Up to 500 Address Book destinations can be registered in one Group destination.
- Only Address Book destinations can be registered in Group destination. Group destination should be
registered after registering the Address Book destinations.
- A group name can be given to each group.
The operations for registering destination and name in Group destinations, operations for changing
registered Group destinations, operations for deleting registered Group destinations are explained below.

Registration is not possible if the name and the destination are not specified.

Detail
Address Book, group destination and program destination can be registered using PageScope Web
Connection.
If PageScope Web Connection is used, settings changes and destination registrations can be made
from a network computer.
For details on the using PageScope Web Connection, refer to the User’s Guide [PageScope Web
Connection Operation].
The registered contents can be checked on the Group Address List.

Registering Group destinations
Follow the procedure given below to register Group destinations.

Display Create One-Touch Destination screen.
– For details on display methods of Create One-Touch Destination screen, refer to "Displaying the fax
registration screen" on page 8-2.

Touch [Group].
– In the Utility mode, numbers displayed on buttons can be entered and selected with the keypad. For
[Group], enter [3] with the keypad.
