TV RATINGS
he parental control feature can block programs based on the TV Industry ratings. Once you have en
tered your
password, the Parental Control features are displayed on the screen.

Follow these steps for Digital Mode and Analog Mo
de.
Press CURSOR or until you see USA V-Chip
highlighted. Press CURSOR or to display the USA
V-CHIP menu.
NOTE: If Parental Control is activated while a TV program
with the rating locked in the TV RATING LIMIT m
enu is
received for the current channel, a message will appear to
tell you to press OK to enter the password to temporarily
deactivate Parental Control.
When finished, press CLEAR button to clear the menu
from the TV screen.
Press CURSOR or to highlight any rating option
( TV-Y
, TV-Y7, TV-G, TV-PG, TV-14 or TV-MA). When
highlighted, press OK to set (which will allow
viewing) or (which will allow blocking).
The TV-Y7, T
V-PG, TV-14 and TV-MA each includes
different content themes: D
, L, S, V or FV. Press CURSOR
or to select one and press OK to set V (which
will allow viewing) or B (which will allow blocking).
Press CURSOR or until you see TV Ratings
highlighted. Press CURSOR or to display the TV
RATING LIMIT m
enu.
NOTE: Locking a lower rating automatically locks all the
higher ratings. Locking a content of a given lower rating
automatically locks all the higher ratings for the same
content. For a given rating, so long as on
e content is
unlocked, this rating is viewable and only the locked
sub-rating is not viewable.
