Quick Start Basics
1.
Press [ON/OFF] (Power) to turn on the camera.
The camera will enter the REC mode.
Make sure R is on the display. If it isn’t, see page 50.
• If the camera is in the PLAY mode, press [r] (REC).
• You also can configure the camera to turn on when you press [r] (REC) or
[p] (PLAY) (page 108).
2.
Point the camera
at the subject.
You can zoom the
image, if you want.
