FUNCTIONAL CHANGES

• New Powertrain Control Module (PCM) – The

Aux Idle Control Modules (961 & 962) will no

longer be offered. The new PCM is now

programmed for after market installation of

stationary elevated idle controls and battery

charge protect on all gas units over 8500# GVW

and all 6.0L diesel units. You can refer to the

Ford Body Builder's Layout Book for more

details.

• QuietFlex™ (31Q) Racks & Bins

INTERIOR CHANGES

• Slim Line Console (41S) becomes a 'No

Charge' option

• Medium Flint interior now available with Dark

Shadow Grey Metallic on RV PEP packages

POWERTRAIN CHANGES

• Electronic 4-Speed Automatic Transmission

(4R70E) Std. on E-150 and E-250 Van

• Electronic 4-Speed Automatic Transmission

(4R75E) Opt. on E-150 and E-250 Van.

• Electronic 5-Speed Automatic Torqshift™

Transmission with Tow-Haul (5R110W) on gas

engines

• 4R75E mated with 4-Speed Automatic

Transmission will be Std. on E-350 Super Duty

and E-350 Extended models

• 5.4L NGV engine discontinued

• Electronic throttle control is Std. on all body

styles
