ProxSys Media Upload Utility
Configuration
The CONFIGURATION window provides additional parameters in three areas: Watch Settings ,
Loading external metadata , Miscellaneous Settings .
Watch Settings
Delete local Content after transfer
When enabled, the upload utility deletes the Watch folder files after they have been
uploaded to their destination bin.
Transfer already existing Content
Use this setting to upload content that has been uploaded previously.
When previously uploaded content is about to be transferred, the upload utility appends a
copy number to the filename and posts a message in
Details and status messages pane to
alert the User.
It does not matter if the previously uploaded file is transferred to the same bin as before or
to a new bin, it will receive a new copy number each time it is uploaded.
Wait for copy completion in Minutes
Use this time to create a wait period before the upload starts. This is done, to insure that
there is enough time to allow the complete copying of a file to the target folder before
upload begins.
