SETTING UP THE SHOOTING FUNCTION

ISO

• You can select the camera’s sensitivity to light by selecting the ISO sub menu.

• Raising the ISO sensitivity will mean that the camera needs less light in order to

take an image. However, the higher the ISO value is, the grainier the image

will be.

- AUTO: The camera’s sensitivity is automatically changed by variables such as

lighting value or subject brightness.

- ISO200/ ISO400: In the same lighting condition, the higher the ISO value is,

the less light needed to make an exposure, allowing higher shutter speeds or

smaller apertures.

1. Rotate the mode dial to the SHOT mode.

2. Press the MENU button and press the UP ( ) / DOWN

( ) button to select [ISO].

3. Press the RIGHT ( ) button to select the [ISO] sub

menu.

4. Select the ISO setting by pressing the UP ( ) / DOWN

( ) button. The default is AUTO.

5. After selecting the desired ISO setting, press the OK

button to confirm the setting.

6. Press the MENU button to cancel the menu display.
