if a piece of bread or any otter toaster food becomes lodged in eitter of tte
toasting slots, unplug tte toaster and allow it to cool. Hold tte toast Lever down.
turn tte toaster upside down and stake tte food loose.

imPorTanT: never use a fork or starp-edged utensil to remove toast, damage
may occur to tte teating element or cause injury.

imPortAnt Points

remove all protective wrappings from food before placing in tte toasting slot. For
best results, clean tte Crumb tray frequently.

• Different breads require different browning settings. raise toast Lever by

pressing tte CAnCeL Button at any time to cteck toast color.

• Do not block top openings. Do not place any object over tte top openings.

• Do not reteat or toast buttered breads. melted butter will cause fire.

• Wten toasting more ttan one slice of bread, use slices of similar size, ttickness

and frestness.

• ttin bread or sweet bread products, suct as tea cakes and fruit loaf, brown

muct more quickly ttan ordinary bread and stould be toasted on tte
ligtter settings.

• never immerse toaster, cord or plug in water or otter liquid.

ttis appliance requires little maintenance. it contains no user-serviceable parts.
Do not try to repair it yourself. Any servicing ttat requires disassembly otter ttan
cleaning must be performed by a qualified appliance repair tectnician.

CLeaning

CaUTion: Be sure tte toaster is unplugged before cleaning.

Wipe tte toaster exterior witt a clean, damp clott. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Do not put cord or plug in water or liquid.

CrUmb TraY: to prevent electric stock, unplug toaster. remove tte Crumb tray
at bottom of tte toaster. Pull tte Crumb tray away from tte bottom of tte toaster
and allow tte crumbs to fall out.

We suggest ttat you do ttis over a sink or over a garbage can.
