OPERATION
fabric setting chart
• If the ironing instructions for the fabric are missing, but you know the type of the fabric,
refer to the following table:

Green* Iron while fabric is still damp

* The color-changing indicator (13) flashes in the corresponding color before the
set temperature is reached.
noTE: The iron heats up more quickly than it cools down.

CAuTion: Always fill the water reservoir (12) with water before connecting the iron with
the mains.
•
Fill the iron with water ( filling the iron with water). Connect the iron to a suitable
wall outlet.
• Turn the function knob (4) right to the steam ironing position (ill. g ).
• Set the temperature ( Setting the temperature).
• Press the fabric setting button (7) repeatedly, until the desired setting is displayed
( fabric setting chart).
• Allow the iron to heat up until the fabric setting display (7) stops blinking and beeps
once.
• during preheating, do not touch the soleplate (14) to feel the temperature (ill. e ).

• Do not preheat the iron with the soleplate (14) facing down. Always place the iron
on its heel (10) (ill. d ).
