power
from
machine
before
performing
any
electrical
service.
Failure
to
do
this
will
result
in
a
shock
hazard
leading
to
injury
or
death.
The
motor
starting
capacitor
can
still
retain
a
charge
even
with
the
power
disconnected.
Turn
the
R
eversing
switch
to
the
forward
position.
This
will
discharge
the
capacitor.
Failure
to
do
so
will
lead
to
a
severe
shock
hazard.
