Shootng n Auto Mode
Auto mode s the easest mode to use to take
pctures. Whle operatng n ths mode, the camera
automatcally optmzes your pcture for best
results.
To take pctures n Auto mode:
1. Press the
power button to turn on the camera.
2. Touch the Auto mode button at the top
left corner of the screen to enter the mode
selecton screen (the default mode at camera
bootup s
Auto mode).
3. Compose your pcture on the LCD screen and
press the shutter button halfway to focus on
the subject.
4. When the subject s n focus, the green colored
focus frame appears on the LCD screen.
. Press shutter button fully to capture the
mage.
Usng the Zoom Functon
Camera Functon Controls
Your camera s equpped wth two types of zoom:
optcal zoom and dgtal zoom. Use the
zoom
scroll wheel at the top of the camera to zoom n
or out on your subject whle takng pctures.

When the optcal/dgtal zoom factor reaches ts
maxmum value, t stops momentarly. Loosen
and push the zoom wheel agan at that moment,
the optcal zoom wll swtch over to dgtal zoom
automatcally. After the adjustment, the zoom
ndcaton scale hdes mmedately, and wll
ndcate t s n zoom status currently wth the
followng symbol
