NOTE: Some menus and settings change

based on your usage mode. Look for a usage

mode icon next to the setting. Not all settings

are available for all usage modes.

GPS Simulator—enable the simulator

to turn off the GPS mode and simulate

navigation. This also saves battery power.
Usage Mode—to optimize routes, specify

your navigation method:

Units—change units of measure to

Kilometers

Miles

Keyboard Layout—select a preference for

your keyboard layout:

QWERTY—a layout similar to a

computer keyboard
ABCDE—an alphabetical layout
Large Mode—a layout that allows you to

select from a range of 12 letters at a time.


About—display the software version

number, the unit ID number, and the audio

version number for your zūmo. You need this

information when you update the system

software or purchase additional maps.
Restore—restore the original system

settings.

Route Preference—select a preference for

calculating your route:

Faster Time—to calculate routes that

are faster to drive but can be longer in

distance.
Shorter Distance—to calculate routes

that are shorter in distance but can take

more time to drive.
Off Road—to calculate point-to-point

routes (without roads).
