Customizing the zūmo

Avoidances—select the road types that you

want to avoid or that you would prefer not to

take on your routes.
Restore—restore the original navigation

settings.
Recalculation Mode—select how your

zūmo recalculates a route if you deviate from

the route.

Screen Shot—enable screen shot mode.

folder on the root of

the zūmo drive.

Brightness—adjust the backlight brightness

level. Reducing the backlight brightness

increases your battery life.
Touchscreen—follow on-screen instructions

to calibrate the touchscreen.
Restore—restore the original display

settings.

UTC time format.
Current Time—select

the time automatically. When

Setting the Languages

Voice—change the language for voice

prompts.
Text—change all on-screen text to the

selected language. Changing the text

language does not change the language of

user-entered data or map data, such as street

names.
Keyboard—select the keyboard for your

language. You can also change the keyboard

language mode from any keyboard by

Lang.

button.

Restore—restore the original languages.
