Adjusting the height of the
canopy
Be sure that no one is above or
below the canopy while it is being
adjusted. While the canopy is in
motion refrain from using the
cooktop until the hood is at the
desired position.
The canopy is adjustable, allowing you
to:
– adjust the height of the exhaust hood
to the installation space.
– adjust the working space under the
exhaust hood to the height of the
user.
– better remove intense cooking
vapors by lowering the canopy.
– have more cooktop working space
by raising the canopy.
The height can be adjusted in a range
of 11 13/16" (300 mm).
^ To raise or lower the canopy briefly
touch the
X or Y buttons.
After approx. 2 seconds the canopy will
begin to move up or down as selected.
^ If you press either of the buttons
again, the canopy will stop moving.
If you do not stop the canopy, it
automatically moves to the highest or
lowest position.
Continuously moving the canopy for
more than a few minutes at a time
will overheat the motor. It can be
used again after a short pause.
