Add a Personal Number to Your Contacts List

1.

Select Contacts from the Main menu.

2.

Select Personal Numbers and press

3.

Select Add Entry and press

(

4.

Select either Add to Phone Memory or Add to SIM Memory and press

(

.

At the prompt, enter the name, phone number, email address (phone memory
only), and location number. If you do not specify a location number, the entry is
stored in the next available location.

6.

For entries stored in phone memory, the Personal Communicator asks if you
want to create a Voice Tag. Voice Tags allow you to retrieve or call a number by
saying the Voice Tag name. Voice Tags cannot be assigned to entries stored in
SIM memory.

7.

If you don’t want to add a Voice Tag, press

8.

To add a Voice Tag, press

(

at the

Add Voice Tag? prompt.

Note: If you already have 25 Voice Tags in your Personal Communicator, you
must delete one before you can add another.

9.

At the prompt, press

(

and record after the tone.

If the recording is not successful, the Personal Communicator prompts you to record
again. For information on editing, deleting, and using Voice Tags, see “Voice
Activation” on page 56.
