INTRODUCTION

To get the best out of your new steam station, please read through these
instructions carefully before using it for the first time. We also recommend
that you keep the instructions for future reference, so that you can remind
yourself of the functions of the steam station.

SAFETY MEASURES

Normal use of the steam station

Incorrect use of the steam station may cause personal injury and
damage to the appliance.

Use the steam station for its intended purpose only. The manufacturer
is not responsible for any damage resulting from incorrect use or
handling (see also Guarantee Terms).

The steam station may only be connected to 230 V, 50 Hz.

The steam station or cord must not be placed in water or any other
liquid.

Never leave the steam station unattended when in use. Keep an eye on
children when the steam station is in use.

Allow the steam station to cool down completely before putting it away.
Always keep the steam station out of the reach of children.

Protect the solepate and NEVER run it over metal or similar surfaces, as
this will damage it.

This steam station is not suitable for commercial or outdoor use.

Positioning the steam station

The steam station must be positioned on a firm level surface.

Always place the steam station at a safe distance from flammable
objects such as curtains, tablecloths or similar.

Never leave the steam station in a place where the temperature might
drop below freezing point.

Do not cover the steam station.

Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of the counter, and keep it
away from hot objects and naked flames.

Cord, plug and mains socket

Check regularly that the cord is not damaged and do not use the steam
station if it is, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any other way.

If the steam station, cord or plug is damaged, the steam station must
be inspected and, if necessary, repaired by an authorised repair
engineer, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock. Never try to repair
the appliance yourself.

Remove the plug from the socket after use, when cleaning, and when
filling the water reservoir.

Avoid pulling the cord when removing the plug from the socket. Instead,
hold the plug.

Make sure that it is not possible to pull or trip over the steam station
cable or any extension cord.

Water reservoir

Contact with hot metal, hot water or steam can result in burns.
Therefore you must be very careful if you turn the steam station upside
down. There could be hot water in the reservoir.

Do not put more than 1,2 litre of water in the reservoir. Do not add
anything to the water.
