SIM Card Security

Your SIM card stores all your Contacts and
protects your personal information. Since this
information is stored on your SIM card, not in your
phone, you can remove the information by
removing your SIM card.

Note: Except for making emergency phone

calls, your phone will not function without
the SIM card.

Direct Talk — Your phone is off
network and set to Direct Talk
mode.

Scan — Your phone is set to
receive Group Connect calls from
all the Talkgroups in a Scangroup.

Emergency Group Connect Call
— Your phone is active on an
Emergency Group Connect call.
