Problem Possible cause Remedy
The programme does
not start and the
display is dark. No obvious cause. – Is the dryer switched on?
– Is the plug correctly
inserted in the socket and
switched on?
– Is the appliance door
closed properly?
– Has the fuse or circuit
breaker tripped?
The interior drum
lighting does not
come on. The lighting switches off
automatically (to save
energy). Switch the dryer off and then
on again.
The lamp needs
changing. Change the lamp as
described at the end of this
section.
Power cut Once power has been restored, switch the tumble dryer
on with the
s button to continue the programme.
The display is in a
different language. A different language
has been selected. Set the language you want.
The flag symbol will guide
you. See "Language" at the
end of this booklet.
The Start/Stop button
indicator light flashes
when a programme is
being selected. This is not a fault.
The flashing indicates
that a programme can
be started.
After the programme has
started, the flashing will
change to a constant light.
The display is dark.
The Start/Stop button
indicator light flashes
slowly. The display has
switched off
automatically to save
energy (Standby
mode). The display will light up when
one of the buttons is pressed.
If the problem
continues there is a
fault. Contact the Miele Service
Department.
