turn it on & off
To turn on your
phone, press and hold
W for a few seconds
or until the display
turns on. If prompted,
enter your four-digit
unlock code.
To turn off your phone, press and hold W for
two seconds.
Note: If you press the W for more than four
seconds, the handset will power “On” in
Transmitters Off mode. To avoid deactivating the
phone’s transmitters when powering up, hold
the power key for less than 4 seconds. To
power up the phone normally from charging
mode, wait until the Charger Attached screen is
displayed, and then press the power key. See
“transmitters” on page 49.

You must enable security the first time you
power on you phone or within 10 days of first
activation of your phone.
