PRIOR TO FIRST USE
• Before using for the first time, or after

prolonged storage without use, wash
any parts that will come into contact
with food.

USING THE APPLIANCE
Assembly before use:
• Place the motor section () on a level

surface, e.g. a kitchen counter, and
make sure it is standing firmly on the
three suction cups.

• Place the blender beaker (2) or the

chopper beaker (7) on the motor
section’s drive shaft () so that the
bottom fits over the motor section. Turn
the beaker clockwise until the locking
tabs (9) or (0) secure the beaker in a
locked position. The safety switch on
the appliance prevents the appliance
from starting if the blender or chopper
beaker is absent or fitted incorrectly.

Using the blender
The blender is suitable for mixing and
blending liquids and soft ingredients like
dairy products, fruit juice, sauces, soups,
milkshakes and drinks.

. Attach the blender beaker to the motor

section as described above.

2. Remove the lid (4) from the blender

beaker and add foodstuffs.

o NOTE: Never add liquid or food
above the “MAX 400 ml” mark on
the beaker.

. Replace the lid on the blender beaker

and turn it clockwise until the locking
tabs (6) secure the lid in a locked
position. Insert the stirring arm (5) into
the hole in the lid.

4. Plug in and switch on the power.
5. Place a hand on the lid and hold the

beaker firmly.

6. Switch on the appliance by holding

down the on/off button (2). The
appliance operates until you let go of
the button.

o Only use the appliance for a
maximum of one minute at a time.
If the appliance has been running
for more than one minute, leave it to
cool down for one minute before
you use it again.
o If necessary, use the stirring arm to
scrape foodstuffs off the interior
sides of the beaker during cooling.
7. Switch off the appliance and remove

the plug from the wall socket.

8. Wait until the blade () has come to

a complete stop before removing the
beaker.

Using the mini chopper
The mini chopper is designed for chopping
or pulverising e.g. onions, garlic, coffee
beans and spices but not hard spices such
as nutmeg.

. Remove the cutter (8) from the chopper

beaker by turning the cutter counter-
clockwise and lifting the beaker.

2. Turn the chopper beaker upside down

and fill it with foodstuffs.

o NOTE: The chopper beaker must
not be more than / full.
. Mount the cutter in the chopper beaker

and turn the cutter counter-clockwise
until the locking tabs (9) secure the
beaker in a locked position.

4. Attach the chopper beaker to the motor

section as described above.

5. Plug in and switch on the power.
6. Place a hand on the chopper beaker

and hold the beaker firmly.

7. Switch on the appliance by holding

down the on/off button. The appliance
operates until you let go of the button.

o Only use the appliance for a
maximum of 0 seconds at a time.
If the appliance has been running
for more than 0 seconds, leave it
to cool down for 0 seconds before
you use it again.
8. Switch off the appliance and remove

the plug from the wall socket.

9. Wait until the cutter has come to a

complete stop before removing the
chopper beaker.
