text entry

Write a text character, then wait for your phone to
recognize and place it in the text entry window.

To delete characters, tap

. To start a new line, tap

To enter a space, tap the space bar.

Tip:

Tap a location in the text entry window to move the

cursor to that location.

text prediction

As you enter letters, your phone might try to predict the
word. For instance, it might predict “program” when you
enter “prog”.

To accept the prediction, tap the predicted word. To turn off
text prediction, tap

Start > Settings > Input > input method

Word Completion tab, then uncheck Suggest words when entering text.

adjust text input settings

Find it:

Start > Settings > Input > input method

You can set your preferred input method, specify your
writing direction and the word recognition delay, activate
shorthand options, activate a user dictionary, and adjust
your pen width and color for the text you enter.

voicemail

When you receive a voicemail message, your phone
shows an indicator and

New Voicemail. Follow the

prompts to access the voicemail message.

To listen to your voicemail at any time, tap and hold

Transcriber

Recognizes handwriting in cursive, print
and mixed styles, as well as numbers
and symbols. Simply write legibly
anywhere on the screen.

Motorola Keyboard Shows larger key sizes. Tap the letters

and numbers on the keyboard, or
phonepad, to enter them in the window.
