Positioning the appliance
• Unfold the stand (5) and place the appliance on a

tabletop.

or
• Mount the appliance on the wall using the enclosed

brackets. Check that the wall and screws can carry
the weight of the appliance before mounting.

Use
• Connect the plug (8) to the mains socket and switch

on using the on/off switch (4).

• Sit in front of the appliance so that you can see

the light easily and with your face 20-60 cm from
the screen (2). You do not need to sit in front of the
screen.

• How long your light bath should last depends on the

distance you sit from the screen:

• You can take a break during the session and do

other things whilst bathing (e.g. read or watch TV)
as long as you sit within 60 cm of the apparatus.

• Do not look directly into the light constantly, but

look at it regularly.

• Always turn the appliance off using the on/off

button, and unplug it, when it is not in use.

• Allow the appliance to cool for at least 15 minutes

before putting it away or moving it.

TIP: Carry the appliance by the carrying handle on the
top part of the rear part ().

REPLACING FLUORESCENT LIGHT TUBES
The lifetime of the fluorescent tubes is approx. 8,000
hours of normal use. If a tube fails, it must be replaced.
• IMPORTANT! Discarded fluorescent tubes must be

disposed of according to the current regulations
for environmentally dangerous materials, e.g. by
handing them in at a recycling station.

• IMPORTANT! Always make sure to switch off the

appliance and remove the plug from the mains
socket before taking it apart to avoid the risk of
electric shocks.

• IMPORTANT! The screws of the appliance may be

of different types. Therefore, pay attention to which
screws belong to the different screw holes in order
to place them correctly when reassembling the
appliance.

How to dismantle the appliance
• Place the appliance on a non-scratching surface,

screen down.

• Remove the three screws from the rear base (7) with

a Phillips screwdriver, and gently detach the rear
and front bases (6) from the appliance.

IMPORTANT! Very carefully detach the two base

parts, since they are connected to the rest of the
appliance with cords that must not be damaged.

• Remove the top cover (1) by unfastening it with your

fingers, first in one side and then in the other.

• Remove the 9 screws along the side of the rear part.
• Carefully remove the rear part, turn it upside down

and put it down in front of you.

• Replace the fluorescent tubes with the same type of

tubes. Always replace both tubes at the same time.

How to reassemble the appliance
• Place the rear part on top of the screen so that the

screw holes along the side of the rear part and the
screen fit together. The two parts click together.

• Assemble the top cover.
• Assemble the front base (with the on/off button) and

make sure the cords are not caught between the
parts.

• Assemble the rear base and screw together the two

base parts.

• Place the rest of the screws in the screw holes along

the side of the appliance and fasten them.

CLEANING
• Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning.
• Allow to cool down before cleaning.
• Never submerge the appliance in water, and no

water must be allowed to get into it.

External cleaning
• Do not use strong or abrasive cleaning agents,

solvents or similar to clean the apparatus, as these
may scratch or damage the external surfaces.

• Wipe the appliance using a well-wrung soft cloth

and hot water.

• Leave the appliance to dry completely, before using

it again.

Internal cleaning
• Remove the screen as described above, wipe off

reflector, inside of screen and tubes with a dry, soft
cloth. Do not use any kind of cleaning agents.
