The door will not open when the "Door" button is pressed.
Issue Solution
The washer is not hooked
up to electricity. Insert the plug into the outlet.
The washer is not turned
on. Turn on the washer using the "On/Off" button.
The Child Safety Lock is
activated. Deactivate the Child Safety Lock (see "Locking the
washer").
The electronic lock
function is activated. Deactivate the electronic safety lock. (see "Locking
the washer").
The door was not closed
correctly. Push on the drum door and at the same time, press
the "Door" button.
There is still water in the
drum and the washer
cannot drain it out. Clean the lint trap and the drain pump
(see "Washer care").
The "hold" spin speed
was selected. Select a spin speed to continue the program. Once
the program ends, you will be able to open the
door.
The "no spin" speed was
selected. Turn the program selector to "Drain/Spin". Select a
spin speed and press "START". Once the program
ends, you will be able to open the door.
As a safeguard against scalding, the drum door cannot be opened if the wash
water temperature is over 130°F.
