Grounding Instructions

This appliance must be grounded. In
the event of an electrical short circuit,
grounding reduces the risk of electric
shock by providing a path of least
resistance. This appliance is equipped
with a cord having a grounding wire
with a grounding plug. The plug must
be plugged into an outlet that is
properly installed and grounded.

WARNING - Improper grounding can
result in a risk of electric shock.

If there is any doubt, have the electrical
system of the house checked by a
qualified electrician.

Do not use an extension cord. If the
power supply cord is too short, have a
qualified electrician install an outlet
near the appliance.

Important

The hood comes equipped with a 4 ft
(1.2 m) power cord with a NEMA 5-15
molded plug for connection to a
120 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 A power outlet.
