There is a knocking
noise in the wash
cabinet The spray arm is hitting an
item in the basket. Interrupt the program,
rearrange items blocking
the spray arms.
There is a rattling
noise in the wash
cabinet Items are not secure in the
wash cabinet. Interrupt the program, and
rearrange loose pieces.
A foreign object has
become lodged in the
drain pump. Remove the foreign object
from the drain pump (see
"Cleaning the drain pump
and non-return valve")
There is a knocking
noise in the water line This may be caused by
the installation or the
diameter of the pipe. This has no effect on the
dishwasher. If in doubt,
contact a plumber.
