The Setup menu opens.
4 Press / or / to highlight Power Save,
then press / or OK/DISP to open the
submenu.
5 Press / or / to select On or Off, then
press OK/DISP.
6 Press MENU to close the menu.
Using the Tools menu
Setting the menu language
To set the menu language:
1 Turn on your camera, then press MODE to
switch to Photo or Video mode.
2 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
3 Press / or / to select the (tools) tab.
The Tools menu opens.
4 Press / or / to highlight Language,
then press / or OK/DISP to open the
submenu.
5 Press / or / to highlight the language
you want, then press OK/DISP.
6 Press MENU to close the menu.
Setting the battery type
The battery type function lets you set the type of
battery in use. Selecting the correct battery type
will let your camera more accurately reflect the
amount of power remaining in the inserted
batteries.
To set the battery type:
1 Turn on your camera, then press MODE to
switch to Photo or Video mode.
2 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
3 Press / or / to select the (tools) tab.
The Tools menu opens.
4 Press / or / to highlight Battery Type,
then press / or OK/DISP to open the
submenu.
Note
The battery type function can only be accessed when
Simple mode is set to Off.
