Setting up your radio

For instructions on mounting your radio, see the mounting template
that came with your radio.

Checking AM radio reception

Your clock radio has a built-in antenna for AM radio. To improve
reception, you need to rotate your clock radio.
Before you mount your clock radio under a counter, tune to an AM
station and rotate your clock radio until you get the best reception.
This is the orientation you need to use when you mount your clock
radio. For more information, see “Improving reception” on page 10.

TUNE (Up)

If you are listening to the radio, press to go to
a higher frequency station.
If you are listening to a CD, press to go to the
next track on the CD.

DISPLAY

Press to turn on the display.

TIMER

Press to set the kitchen timer.

FM ST.

When listening to an FM station broadcast in
stereo, press this button to switch between
STEREO and MONO.

PROG./MEM.

Press to program radio station presets. For
more information, see “Programming radio
station presets” on page 11
.

RPT

Press to repeat a single CD track or the entire
CD.

MEM.UP

If you are listening to the radio, press to go to
the next higher radio station preset.
If you are listening to a CD, press to play or
pause the CD.

TUNE (Down)

If you are listening to the radio, press to go to
a lower frequency station.
If you are listening to a CD, press to go to the
previous track on the CD.

15

BAND

If you are listening to the radio, press to select
the AM or FM band.
If you are listening to a CD, press to stop
playback.
