mountains can distort reception. Raise

No power Make sure that the power cord is
plugged in correctly. If the power cord
is plugged in, unplug it for about 60
seconds, then plug it back in and turn
on your TV/DVD combo.
No picture Make sure that the antenna or CATV is
connected correctly.
Try another station.
Adjust the contrast and brightness.
Good picture but no sound Make sure that the volume is turned
up.
Make sure that the volume is not
muted.
Good sound but poor or
no picture Adjust the contrast, brightness, and
color controls.
Snowy picture and
background noise Make sure that your antenna or CATV
is connected correctly.
White line across the
screen Turn off your TV and contact qualified
service personnel.
Remote control does not
work Change the batteries.
Clean the lens on the remote, the
remote sensor on your TV/DVD
combo.
Make sure that there are no
obstructions between the remote
control and the remote sensor.

Disc will not play Make sure that the disc is in the disc
tray label side up.
Make sure that the disc is clean.
Make sure that the parental lock is not
set.
Picture is divided Make sure that the disc is clean.
Turn the power off, wait a few seconds,
